    "This company is great. Knowledgeable service!"

    Some years ago I hired a computer-security company to install a DVR security camera system in my house. It worked well until recently when one of the cameras broke. But the old security company is now out of business. So, how do I select and purchase a replacement camera?

    I am a do it yourself, techie kind of person, but after several hours of online research felt overwhelmed. In the process I checked out traditional big-box type stores and specialty camera and security companies. At every turn, when I called and spoke with a sales person, they had no idea about the products they are selling.

    Then I stumbled across Discount Security Cameras. I got on the phone. The sales person was very knowledgeable. First, to identify which cameras are compatible with my DVR they asked for my model number. Thus they immediately were able to identify my particular DVR. With this information, still on the phone, they directed me to their web site and to the cameras which would work for me. We talked about the pros and cons of all the cameras.

    After selecting a camera, they assured my that they are certain that this camera would work with my system and would work immediately upon connection, with great video quality. Guaranteed or my money back.

    So, I ordered the camera. I am totally pleased. It was exactly as they promised. This company is great. Knowledgeable service! They are now my go to resource. I highly recommend them.

    "The service I experienced was first class."

    Good morning, my name is Phillip. I purchased an 8 channel camera system through my neighbor who does defense work. He also builds mobile command centers for the local police departments. I really like the product and the clarity of the cameras.

    I have had some issues with the system on my end and it has caused me to have some difficulty accessing the dvr through my router. Jim in tech support was not only very knowledgeable, he was extremely patient with me and my situation. Jim went way above and beyond what his scope of work is as far as troubleshooting my system. Not only did he fix all the issues I was having he also did the job of my internet provider who happens to have some very ill informed techs. After taking over an hour and 20 minutes to help me he determined that the dvr was not functioning properly. I mailed it back to your office and one day later the new one arrive at my house.

    The service I experienced was first class. I know most people just like to complain so I thought it was important to pass on a compliment. You have gained a customer for life and I will be recommending your company to anyone and everyone who asks about my camera system. I really appreciate what Jim did for me and I will be speaking with him today for hopefully the last time to finish setting up my new dvr. Thanks again for the services you provide. I hope you all have a great day and a wonderful Christmas season. Thanks for having informed techs available. It makes all the difference.

You have the parts I need, you have the parts at a VERY competitive price, you contacted me when I made an inquiry about a part that I thought I needed, but I was mistaken, and you followed up with a telephone call. And, even though I'm small potatoes, and didn't order any sizable request (20 BNC connectors and 5 DC power camera connectors), you arranged delivery in two days! Even though I'm small potatoes, you will be my supplier of choice for any CCTV solutions I need in the future. Thank you. "

    "Thanks again DSC. Was still living in the stone age when the old VCR went south. Decided to upgrade to one of your stand alone DVRs. Wow! Didn't realize the loss of resolution experienced when pushing your signal thru old tech. Both the monitor and playback are so much better but you especially notice it on the playback. For anyone who's looking to upgrade (especially from the old 8 ch adapter and VCR combo), I would highly recommend this product."

    "Bought IRB700 as a replacement for an original installation camera which succumbed to the weather. Good sharp picture and beautiful color - night image very good. Can not say enough good things about the customer service at this company. When made aware of an installation problem with the first camera shipped they called me, offered, and immediately shipped another camera without any hassle and followed up to ensure that I was satisfied. This is that rare type of customer service which one rarely encounters on internet sales sites. This was my second purchase from this company and it will not be my last."

    "My recent purchase was to finish the installation of the 8 camera/DVR system I bought from DSC a couple of weeks ago. Josh was extremely helpful during the order process and answered every question I had. He even looked up my address on Google earth and assisted me with camera placement while we both looked at my house on our own computers at the same time. After installation, all of the tech support guys...Leonard, Julius, Jeff, know me by now I'm sure because of my constant calls to program certain things on the DVR as well as set up remote access from a computer. Not once did any of them sound annoyed or have any hint of aggravation in their voices due to my numerous calls. For a guy like me who's not the best with setting up these type of units, I'm sure glad I bought from you guys and that I can count on the professionals at DSC if I need some help."

    "Ok, so bad luck hits me big time on Tuesday morning before my flight to Hawaii on Friday... Lightning stuck my camera system and burned up 14 cameras and my DVR. I called DSC, told Rob in sales what happened, and he immediately started working on getting me lined up with a suitable replacement system and getting it off the dock and headed my way. Time was a real issue here, as it was late Tuesday morning before I was able to contact DSC.

    System arrived Thursday morning, and I immediately began installing the gear. After quickly learning the basic setup, and hooking up a couple of cameras to work with, I hooked up to my network and called DSC to streamline my network setup. I got ahold of Leonard, who dialed into my router and in 5 minutes had my system working great, and my wife, 30 miles away was watching our cameras in real time. Another call to Leonard a couple hours later had our IPhones also watching in real time...I hooked up 12 of my 16 cameras that evening before packing to leave.

    Now, as I sit here on the north shore of Kauai, watching my dogs at home, I can't thank the DSC crew enough for making the switch to a newer, better, more reliable system so incredibly easy, and cheaper than I expected. There is only one go-to company for CCTV as far as I'm concerned: DSC.

    "Our Paranormal group purchased the Inline Audio Microphone to add to our DVR system. We have noticed lots of movements on cameras in several investigations and often said it would be nice to have a microphone in those rooms. This is our chance to catch what going on in those active rooms with out having to run a voice recorder down to the room. We hope to have another review after our next major Investigation. Thanks for your prompt service!"
