New Interactive Security Camera Systems Learning Center
Jacksonville, FL - August 16, 2010
Discount Security Cameras (DSC) is pleased to announce their new web-based Interactive Security Camera Systems Learning Center. The Center features articles about video security and surveillance, FAQs, training videos, and even incidents caught on DVR by security cameras.
"We are very excited to be providing this new resource to our customers and prospective customers", says Dave Page, President of Discount Security Cameras. "Whether a person is going to design and install a system themselves, or work with a professional installer, being well educated will only help with the process".
The new Interactive Learning Center also provides a mechanism for visitors to comment on content, ask questions, and vote on the usefulness of the content.
"One of the things that we are most excited about with our new Interactive Learning Center is the ability for us to obtain feedback directly from our customers and prospective customers. Being able to engage in a dialog with these people will be invaluable to us", continues Page.
Coinciding with the launch of the new Learning Center, DSC is also introducing the first two videos in a new video training series on security camera systems. This series is intended to introduce people to video surveillance terminology, security camera system components, and ways to design and install a security camera system.
More videos in this series will roll out over the next few months.
"This new video series will cover all of the basics and fundamentals of security camera systems to help consumers to better understand the components and considerations that go into an effective video surveillance system", say Page. "The feedback obtained from the new Interactive Learning Center may even help to shape the content of future videos in the series."
